Your data stays yours. Here is exactly what Revien collects, why, and how you control it.
Revien collects location data (GPS coordinates, elevation, speed) strictly when you record a trip. Vehicle metadata (brand, model, engine size) and optional profile information (name, email) are stored to provide app functionality.
All recorded trip telemetry is saved locally on your device. When cloud synchronization is enabled, your trip data is securely transmitted to our backend. Cloud backups retain your last 30 days of trip history to optimize bandwidth and data minimization. Your local device copy remains indefinitely.
Location data is used solely to generate route maps, telemetry metrics (distance, speed, lean angle), and statistics. We do not sell or share your personal telemetry with third parties.
You have full control over your data. You can delete individual trips, motorcycles, or request total account and data deletion at any time directly within the app settings.
GPS data is collected only while you are actively recording a trip. During a Party Ride, your live location is shared in real time with the other invited members so the group can coordinate. Live location is never used for advertising and stops being shared as soon as you leave or end the ride.
Photos and videos you add to trips are stored locally on your device. If you enable cloud upload, they are stored in a private cloud space accessible only to your account. The free plan allows 2 photos per trip; Revien Pro allows more. You can delete any media at any time and it will be removed from both your device and the cloud.
Revien lets you share route plans with friends or via a private link. Only what you choose to share is shared: the route plan, its name and your profile name. Anyone who receives the link can view that route. You can stop sharing a route at any time.
We use aggregated, anonymous analytics to understand which features are used and to improve the app. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Revien is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU) and we do not knowingly collect their data. By using Revien, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
Safety is paramount. Do not interact with the application while operating a motorcycle. Always obey local traffic laws, speed limits, and road conditions. Revien is intended as a post-ride telemetry and log tool.
Revien provides local trip tracking and optional 30-day cloud synchronization. While we implement robust backup protocols, you are responsible for maintaining your local trip records.
You retain ownership of all trip telemetry and motorcycle data created in Revien. You may export your trips (e.g. as GPX) or delete your data at any time.
Revien Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription purchased through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account and renews automatically each billing period (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose) until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Prices may change in the future; you will always be informed before any price change takes effect. All billing, refunds and management are handled by Apple, not Revien.
The Revien app, its design, logos and features are the property of the Revien developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute or resell the application. Your trip data and content remain yours.
The application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Revien is a telemetry and log tool, not a navigation device, a safety device or professional advice. Riding a motorcycle involves inherent risk; always ride within your abilities and follow local laws. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Revien's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription.
